I have hope again. It's been so long I almost forgot what it felt like. This is the first politician that has brought tears to my eyes and given me goose bumps. Click on the link below to view the next President of the United States and say a prayer of thanks for your right to vote. Together, we can turn things around.
This past weekend the VIP and I took the peach and the little bird to the parade near our house and the carnival. My little bird is only 6 but is a huge fan of all rides fast and twirly. She went on by herself as mommy can't handle the spinning and daddy's getting over pneumonia.
My sweet peach had to do alot of waiting with Daddy while big sister did the "big girl" rides. One father was trying to encourage his son to go on a ride with the little bird because she looked so enthusiastic and unafraid. This little boy says, "I don't need a chick to help me not be scared." How does this type of language start so young?
Look how sweet they are. I can't wait! I check them every day. This gardening thing is addicting.
Don't you just want to kiss them?
There is nothing more beautiful than a perfect peony!
Oh, how I love Spring! This year in the garden we've planted baby tomatoes, 2 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, basil, arugula, and little baby watermelons. We're also working on planting a butterfly garden. I'm still considering a raspberry bush I saw at the nursery last week. Next year I hope to do green beans and squash as well. I'll keep you posted.
